When is a Weed not a Weed

This clover popped up at the base of one of the Kumquat trees.  It's a pretty little thing, not the normal white or yellow flowered clovers that are common here, but a little pink flower.  I didn't catch it at its best here, but you can see the charm.

  1. my mom always called it rabbit grass. it suppresses weeds and is very pretty. i wonder if it's a nitrogen fixer since it's a clover? hmmm. oh, hi, i'm jess btw, a fellow louisiana gardener. i just stumbled upon your blog and am enjoying it.
